Electrical Engineer

Model power, lighting, grounding, and equipment wiring in Revit. Know when the path is a state modular program, a UL listing, or both.

The Work

• Model the electrical system in Revit with the rest of the module.
• Design power, lighting, grounding, and equipment connections, including data center modules.
• Keep the state modular package and a UL listing separate when the project needs one, the other, or both.
• Coordinate gear, cable, and penetrations before the module is closed.
• Produce LOD 300 for review and LOD 400 for the bay.

You Have Done This

• You have designed electrical systems for modular buildings, e-houses, skids, or data center equipment.
• You work in Revit.
• You have taken an electrical package through plan review or a listing path.
• You do not treat a UL listing and a state modular approval as the same stamp.
