Mechanical Engineer

Model HVAC, hydronics, process piping, and plumbing in the same Revit model as the structure. Cooling skids and building mechanical are both in the work.

The Work

• Model mechanical systems in Revit with the structure, not after it.
• Design HVAC, hydronics, process piping, and plumbing so they fit the module and can be tested in the plant.
• Coordinate equipment, penetrations, and access with structural and electrical before close-in.
• Produce LOD 300 for state review and LOD 400 for the bay.
• Support the in-plant test. The site is not the place the system is proven.

You Have Done This

• You have designed mechanical systems for modular buildings, process skids, or data center equipment.
• You work in Revit.
• You have routed pipe and set equipment inside a module, not only on a site-built plant.
• You have supported a factory test or a startup and stayed for the result.
