The Work

Run the quality management system the state program and the third party actually audit.
Confirm the design-review agency and the in-plant inspector are accepted by the destination state.
Manage submittal, comments, approval, and insignia. Reciprocity is checked, not assumed.
Set hold points before close-in and before coating. Closed construction does not get a second chance.
Release the package to production, and release the module to ship, only when the records match the unit.
Own nonconformance. The floor does not disposition its own miss.

You have run quality for a modular manufacturer or a steel fabricator shipping into state programs.
You have managed third-party inspection agencies and a plan-review cycle.
You understand insignia, data plates, and the line between factory scope and the local official.
You have stopped a shipment. That is part of the job.
